A high-level delegation from the Commonwealth Games Federation is on a four-day visit to Gujarat today to inspect and study the state’s preparedness for hosting the 2030 Commonwealth Games. The visit commenced today following a meeting with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar. The team is scheduled to visit several key sports venues, including the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex and the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the E.K.A. Arena, the Vadodara Cricket Stadium, and the facilities at Ekta Nagar near the Statue of Unity. The delegation has officially invited Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to visit Glasgow for this year’s Commonwealth Games, scheduled from July to the 2nd of August.
