The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad today.
 
Places over Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Konkan, Goa, Maharashtra, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and the North-Eastern parts of India are likely to experience heavy rainfall for the next 2-3 days. According to the weather department, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are expected today over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jharkhand, Telangana and a few parts of North-East India.
