Several parts of Delhi-NCR have witnessed moderate to heavy rainfall this morning, making the weather more pleasant. Heavy rainfall resulted in waterlogging and affected traffic movements in several areas of the national capital, including ITO, Dhaula Kuan, Nehru Place, Nangloi and Mundka.
 
In view of the heavy rainfall conditions, the District Disaster Management Authority of Gurugram has also advised all corporate offices and private institutions in the district to allow employees to work from home today. The authority said, this will help reduce traffic congestion and ensure public safety. The authority also urged people to avoid unnecessary travel and stay alert.
 
So far, Delhi has received 16.67 millimetres of rainfall while Gurugram recorded 133 millimetres of rainfall.
