In a massive development Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka for an ‘undisclosed’ location as the protesters on a long march captured Gana Bhavan on Monday.

The army was going to take over the rein and the Army Chief Gen Waker-Uz-Zaman is scheduled to address the nation on Monday itself.

Reports reaching here from Bangladesh said, Sheikh Hasina resigned at the face of protests and left the country on which was being razed by violence for the last few weeks leaving more than 300 dead.

Dhaka reports said Hasina and her sister had been taken to a “safe shelter” away from her official residence.

In the meantime, speculations were rife that the disposed Bangladesh Prime Minister was being flown to Agartala in a helicopter.

Some other reports said she would be taken to Kolkata.

Both Agartala and Kolkata appeared to be likeliest destination for Hasina in case she decided the leave the country.

Details of the developments on Monday are not yet available.
