Union Minister of State for Power & Heavy Industries Krishan Pal Gurjar joined a review meeting on implementation of different schemes of central and state government at the conference hall of Sepahijala DM & Collector’s office yesterday. Progress in implementing schemes such as PM Poshan, Mission Vidyajyoti, PM-KISAN, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Deendayal Upadhyay Gramin Jyoti Yojana, progress of power services under Saubhagya scheme, Ayushman Bharat were elaborately discussed in the meeting. The Union Minister of State said, the central government is assisting the state government in implementing different schemes. The benefits of these schemes much be delivered to the people within time.
Sepahijala DM & Collector Ravel Hemendra Kumar informed, 5 thousand 522 Self-Help Groups have been formed in the district to make the rural people self-reliant. 2 lakh 19 thousand 60 persons have become self-independent. Officials of different departments elaborately discussed implementation of different schemes. Sabhadhipati of Sepahijala Zilla Parishad Supriya Das Datta, Additional DM and officials of different departments were present in the meeting. The Union Minister of State had interacted with the members of different SHGs of the district.
5-day Sanghati Mela at Sultan Shah Dargah premises
The Mela creates solidarity among people as well as plays a significant role in rural cultural development. Besides, income opportunities also gets created through rural fairs, enunciated Jail Minister Ram Prasad Pal after inaugurating the five-day Sanghati Mela conducted jointly by Information & Cultural Affairs department and Dukli Panchayat Samiti at Sultan Shah Darga premises in Anandanagar yesterday.
He said, fairs means festival of brotherhood, environment of solidarity among people, commercial gives and takes and people greeting one another. It strengthens our unity. The Jail Minister called on everyone to come enjoy the 5-day Mela.
Chairman of Dukli Panchayat Samiti Ajay Kumar Das and Director of Information & Cultural Affairs department Ratan Biswas also spoke on the occasion. Welcome speech was delivered by Dukli Block BDO Swarup Kumar Pal. The programme was presided over by social activist Malay Lodh. Inaugural song was performed by artists of Satyanistha Cultural Organisation. Beautiful cultural programmes will be conducted in the 5-day Mela. Different government departments opened their respective exhibition stalls.
