Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections in the last month witnessed a significant rise to 2,11,205 crore rupees, marking a 15.4 percent year-on-year increase from 1,83,065 crore rupees in July 2025. According to the provisional data released by the Finance Ministry, Gross domestic GST revenue stood at 1,44,695 crore rupees, up 10.1 per cent from a year ago. GST collections from imports surged 28.8 per cent to 66,511 crore rupees, providing a boost to the overall monthly mop-up.
