GST collection grew by 6.1% last month compared to same month in 2024

 
The total gross Goods and Services Tax, GST collections grew 6.1 per cent to around one lakh 75 thousand crore rupees in December, 2025, as compared to the same month in 2024. The total gross GST revenue in December 2024 was over one lakh 64 thousand crore rupees. The Central GST collection in December last month stood at 34 thousand 289 crore rupees ,and the State GST is at 41 thousand 368 crore rupees. The Integrated IGST collected amounts to 98 thousand 894 crore rupees.
