Government today said that it wants to maintain the standard of All India Institute of Medical Sciences opened in the various parts of the country and try to rope in the best doctors and it will take some time for the faculty to grow in these institutions.
Replying to the supplementaries during Question Hour in Lok Sabha today, Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda said that Prime Minister Modi has tried to open over 17 AIIMS in every region of the country with the world’s best tertiary healthcare system. Our vision of All India Institute of Medical Sciences is that people from every corner of the country do not have to come to Delhi for their treatment. The way AIIMS is served in Delhi, AIIMS should serve them with the same brand name.
