The state government on Saturday announced a hike in the festival grants for the employees.
s per the revised rate of festival grant, the Group-C and Group-D (including employees recruited on fixed pay basis by keeping in abeyance the regular pay scale) would get Rs. 2000.
The DRWs who have been engaged with prior concurrence of the Finance department would get Rs. 2000, the PTWs and Contractual Workers/ Casual Workers, who have been engaged with prior concurrence of the Finance department, would get Rs. 2,200.
The Pensioners and Family Pensioners would get Rs. 2000, the Anganwadi Helpers and Workers would get Rs. 2,200, The Home Guards and SPOs would get Rs. 2,200 and the priests of government-run temples would get Rs. 2000.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha shared the update on festival grant hike on social media and commented that the decision would benefit the employees of various categories.
