Tripura Governor Satyadeo Narayan Arya who had been suffering from several old age ailments shifted to Kolkata on Tuesday through an air ambulance. He was admitted to ILS hospital Agartala late on Monday night.
It was decided to refer him for advanced treatment. Chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb today rushed to hospital to inquire about his health condition and wished him a speedy recovery.
In a tweet, the chief minister wrote, “Visited the ILS hospital to check on the well-being of the Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, Shri Satyadeo Narain Arya Ji. My prayers to Maa Tripurasundari for his speedy recovery.”
Deb also paid a visit to former Vice Chancellor Tripura University Dr Arunaday Saha who is also admitted at ILS.
