The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) has achieved a remarkable milestone by recording a Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of 5.4 lakh crore rupees in the financial year 2024-25. Speaking at the 9th foundation day celebration of GeM yesterday, GeM CEO Mihir Kumar emphasized that the occasion is not merely a celebration of numbers, but of people those who make governance more accesible, inclusive and impactful. Mr Kumar reiterated GeM’s unwavering commitment to transforming public procurement into a more equitable and accessible process.
