Gold and silver prices trade lower in Indian bullion market

In the Indian bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading one per cent down at 1 lakh 43 thousand 180 rupees per 10 grams, while Silver was trading 0.6 per cent down at 2 lakh 22 thousand 400 rupees per kilogram, a short while ago.
 
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, Gold for August contract was trading one per cent lower at 1 lakh 42 thousand 755 rupees per 10 grams, and Silver for the September contract was trading over 0.6 per cent down at 2 lakh 22 thousand rupees per kilogram, when reports last came in.
