In the Indian bullion market, 24 carat Gold was trading 1.7 per cent lower at 144,330 rupees per 10 grams, while Silver was trading 1.2 per cent down at 223,470 rupees per kilogram a short while ago.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, Gold for the August contract was trading 1.8 per cent lower at 1,43,919 rupees per 10 grams, and Silver for July contract was trading 1.6 per cent down at 2,22,307 rupees per kilogram, when reports last came in.
