Global crude oil prices rose today amid renewed West Asia tensions and lack of progress in negotiations between US and Iran. Brent crude was trading 2.1 per cent up at 98 US dollars and two cents per barrel in intra-day trade. West Texas Intermediate crude was also trading over 2.1 per cent up at 95 US dollars and 78 cents per barrel when reports last came in.
