In German Open Squash, National champion Velavan Senthilkumar advanced to the quarterfinals with a 3-1 win in Hamburg yesterday. Senthilkumar defeated eighth-seeded George Parker of England 11-5, 11-8, 9-11, 11-9.
The 2023 Asian Individual silver medalist Senthilkumar scored an impressive win in 61 minutes. Velavan will now face world No. 4 Eain Yow Ng of Malaysia in the quarterfinals.
