Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) will go for online registration of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary candidates.

Board president Dr. Bhabatosh Saha announced this in a press conference on Saturday.

Dr. Saha said the candidates have to enrol (fill up forms) online in two phases. In the first phase, the Madhyamik candidates would fill up 1M form and the Higher Secondary candidates would fill up 1H form.

The 1M and 1H forms would include candidate name, parents name and date of birth and subjects etc., the TBSE president told the media adding that a demonstration portal (164.100.127.45/tbse_demo) was already launched as a trial for the online process and the portal would start functioning soon.

He said the submission of online applications would begin from the first week of November.

For Madhyamik candidates, there would be an option on selection of standard or basic Mathematics while the Higher Secondary candidates would get the option to select the language for their examinations, Dr. Saha said.

After filling up online forms, they will submit the forms along with necessary fees to the school authority. The school authority would then register through 7M and 7H forms.
