Former Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Raghuram Rajan on Wednesday joined Congress top leader and Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhis mega nationwide march, dubbed as Bharat Jodo Yatra, in Rajasthan.

Rajan, a critic of the Modi governments controversial demonetisation move, joined the yatra at Sawai Madhopur in the Congress ruled state.

Rahuls mega march, which began in south India, witnessed the participation of actors Swara Bhasker, Riya Sen, boxer Vijender Singh, activist Medha Patkar.

The yatra is set to conclude in Kashmir next year.
