Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will embark on a three-day visit to the United States beginning today.
During his visit, Mr Misri will meet with senior officials of the US administration in Washington, DC.
The visit is a follow-up to the Prime Minister’s visit to the United States in February this year, when both sides had launched the India-US COMPACT (Catalysing Opportunities for Military Partnership, Accelerated Commerce and Technology) initiative.
