Must Read

Foreign investors turned net buyers of Indian equities worth 22,615 crore rupees in February, snapping three consecutive months of outflows. February has also recorded the highest monthly inflows since September 2024 when FPIs pumped 57,724 crore rupees into the Indian equities.

As per the depositories data, FPIs also invested 5,380 crore rupees into the Indian debt markets. This takes the net investment into the Indian capital market to 37,804 crore rupees during the period under review.

Buying returned this month after a lacklustre beginning of the new year. The heavy inflows follow sustained withdrawals of 35,962 crore rupees in January and 22,611 crore rupees in December.
