Foreign Investors Pump ₹4,469 Crore into Indian Debt Markets in August

Foreign investors pumped in 4,469 crore rupees into the Indian debt markets so far in August. However, as per the depositories data, foreign portfolio investors, or FPIs, pulled out 20,975 crore rupees from the Indian equity markets during the August 1 and 15 period.
 
In July, FPIs pulled out 17,741 crore rupees from equities, but invested 14,590 crore rupees in June and 19,860 crore rupees in May, making it the best-performing month of the 2025 calendar year.
