A fire broke out today at sector 19 of Mahakumbh Mela area in Prayagraj this evening which was immediately brought under control. No casualty was reported in the fire incident. After getting information about the incident, the team of fire services, NDRF and SDRF rushed to the spot and doused the flame.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the phone in this regard. Yogi Adityanath apprised him about all the facts of the incident.
The Chief Minister also conducted a site inspection and directed the concerned officials to carry out relief work on a war footing.
