Prime Minister of Fiji Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka visited the head office of the Unique Identification Authority of India in New Delhi today. During the visit, Mr. Rabuka was briefed about the Aadhaar and DigiLocker initiatives by the senior officials of the UIDAI. They highlighted the role of these initiatives in empowering citizens by enabling inclusive digital governance. According to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the delegation also witnessed a live demonstration of the Aadhaar enrolment process, providing a glimpse of the country’s digital ID ecosystem. The visit of the Prime Minister of Fiji reflects the growing collaboration between India and Fiji in the field of the digital technological landscape.
