Yoane Wissa scored twice in the second half, while Fiston Mayele added another goal to seal the victory.
With this win, DR Congo progresses to the Round of 32 as one of the best eight third-place teams.
In another Group K fixture, Portugal and Colombia played out a goalless draw at Miami Stadium in Florida this morning.
Despite the draw, Colombia finished at the top of Group K, while Portugal advanced to the Round of 32 as runners-up. In the Round of 32, Portugal will face Croatia in Toronto on Friday, while Colombia will take on Ghana in Kansas City a day later.
Earlier, England defeated Panama 2-0 in their Group L match at New Jersey Stadium in the United States this morning. Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane scored a goal each as England secured the top spot in Group L.
In another Group L fixture, Croatia beat Ghana 2-1 in Philadelphia, United States.
Croatia finished as runners-up in the group, while Ghana finished third and advanced to the Round of 32 as one of the tournament’s best third-placed teams.
