FIFA has said that it has received more than 150 million ticket requests for the 2026 World Cup to be hosted in Mexico, Canada and the United States of America. Huge ticket requests have set a new World Cup ticketing record with the Random Selection Draw phase only at its halfway point. The Random Selection Draw ticketing phase opened on 11 December this year and will end on 13 January next year.
The 2026 World Cup will kick off on 11th June next year, with the final scheduled for 19th July across 16 cities spread across Canada, Mexico, and the United States. A total of 104 matches will be played between a record 48 teams.
