Campaigning for the second phase of Bihar Assembly elections continued on a feverish pitch on the penultimate day of canvassing today. In this phase, voting will take place on Tuesday in 122 assembly constituencies across 20 districts. 
 
 
Senior leaders from the NDA, Mahagathbandhan, and other parties today made a last ditch efforts to garner support for their candidates by holding rallies and public meetings across the state. Addressing an election rally in Bettiah, senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged that Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress have no concern for development. He said leaders of both parties are misleading people on development and employment.
 
 
Addressing another public meeting in Sitamarhi, Mr. Modi said, the NDA government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has rebuilt the faith of the people of Bihar, and now investors are eager to come to the state. Senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh, while campaigning in Dinara, said, a stable government is needed for the development of Bihar, and this stability will come when NDA returns to power.
 
 
Another BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in a public meeting in Supaul, alleged that the RJD and Congress support infiltrators. Addressing a public meeting in Jehanabad, Janata Dal (United) President and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said the atmosphere of fear has ended in the state after he took charge in Bihar. BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also addressed several public meetings today.
 
 
On the other hand, Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi addressed a rally in Purnia. She accused that NDA has been in power in Bihar for 20 years, but still migration for employment remains a major problem. Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav said in Barachatti in Gaya district, that his real fight is against unemployment.
 
 
Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav also addressed a public meeting in Rajnagar in Madhubani. Vikassheel Insan Party (VIP) Chief and Mahagathbandhan’s Deputy Chief Minister candidate, Mukesh Sahani, said that the youth of state want change. Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor criticized the NDA, asserting that Bihar lacks factories and jobs. He said that voters are demanding employment opportunities and industrial development in the state.
