Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday asked the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs to expose the Opposition for disrupting normal businesses in Parliament during the ongoing monsoon session, media reports said.
The Prime Minister has asked his party MPs to tell people how the Opposition is not allowing Parliament to function.
The Congress, Trinamool Congress (TMC) and other opposition parties are protesting in Parliament on a number of issues including Pegasus spyware, farm laws, creating a ruckus in both the houses.
Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have hardly witnessed any business since the beginning of the session on Jul 19.
Witnessing unruly scenes inside the house, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla asked the protesting MPs to maintain decorum and participate in debates.
“Do not compete with each other in sloganeering. Compete with each other to raise people’s issues,” Birla said.
