In the Euro Cup Football, Spain began their Campaign with a massive 3- NIL victory over Croatia in a Group B match in Berlin, last night. Álvaro Morata, Fabián Ruiz, and Dani Carvajal each scored goals to lead the three-time world champions to a convincing victory. In another Group B match, defending champions Italy overcame Albania 2-1 in Dortmund. Despite conceding an early goal, Italy staged a comeback with goals from Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolò Barella. Earlier, Nedim Bajrami had opened the scoring for Albania just 23 seconds into the match.
While in Group A, Switzerland kicked off their campaign with a 3-1 victory against Hungary in Cologne. Goals from Kwadwo Duah, Michel Aebischer, and Breel Embolo secured Switzerland’s win. Barnabas Varga scored the consolation goal for Hungary.
In Group C matches today, Slovenia will take on Denmark, and England will face Serbia this evening. While in Group D, Poland will square off against the Netherlands later in the day.
