England will face in-form Switzerland in the quarterfinal of the Euro Cup 2024 at the Duesseldorf Arena in Germany, tonight. England is bidding for its first European Championship title in 11 appearances while the Switzerland team is eyeing for their maiden semi-final spot. Last time the two sides met was in an international friendly match in 2022, where England beat Switzerland by 2-1.
Earlier, Spain stormed into the semifinals defeating Germany 2-1 in the quarterfinals at the MHP Arena in Stuttgart, Germany. In the Second quarterfinal match, France beat Portugal in a penalty shootout to reach the semi-finals.The semi-finals of Euro Cup will be played on 9th and 10th of July and the final in Berlin on 14th July.
