EPFO records highest ever net addition of nearly 22 lakh members in June

 
The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has recorded all time highest net addition of 21.89 lakh members during the month of June this year. The figure represents an increase of 9.14 per cent, marking the highest recorded addition since payroll data tracking began in April 2018. In a statement, Ministry of Labour and Employment informed that around 10 lakh 62 thousand new subscribers have been enrolled in this month, representing a 12.68 per cent increase over May 2025 and a growth of 3.61 per cent compared to June previous year. The Ministry stated that around 6 lakh 39 thousand new subscribers were added in the 18-25 age group. Further, more than three lakh new female subscribers joined the EPFO, reflecting an increase of increase of approximately 15 per cent, compared to the previous month.
