EPFO credits interest to over 96% members for last fiscal, says Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya –

Union Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya today said that the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation – EPFO has credited interest for the previous financial year 2024-2025 to over 96 percent of its members. Addressing media in New Delhi, Mr Mandaviya informed that the interest has been credited in 32 crore 40 million member accounts so far. The interest in the remaining accounts is expected to be credited this week. He noted that his Ministry will soon complete this process within less than two months after the rate of interest was approved by the Center.  The Minister credited the optimization of interest crediting systems for faster processing, due to which the entire exercise is being completed in short span of time.
