The 2024 Lok Sabha elections will set the stage for an electoral fight between Prime Minister Narendra Modis Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and disparate opposition forces across the country.

In the elections, Modi aims to return to power for the third consecutive term as the BJP is buoyant by the recent assembly poll results and an apparent crumbling down of the opposition bloc, INDIA.

The 543 Lok Sabha seats from across the country will be up grabs from the political parties, which are finalising their candidates for the mega battle.

Among all states, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal are the top three states with the most number of seats.
