A nine-member Election Commission team is on a three-day visit to Bihar to review preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections. The team arrived in Patna last evening and held a high-level meeting today with Chief Electoral Officer Vinod Singh Gunjiyal and other officials regarding the Special Intensive Review of the voters’ list. The team also met with district election officers, divisional commissioners, and other officials to receive updates. In a recent decision, the Commission announced a door-to-door review in Bihar to ensure voter list accuracy. The team will meet Electoral Registration Officers and their Assistant Electoral Registration Officers tomorrow.
