Election campaigning has gained momentum for the first phase in Bihar for the Assembly elections. JD(U) President and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and senior BJP leaders are canvassing in support of the NDA candidates. Voting will be held in 121 assembly constituencies spread over 18 districts on 6th November.
Today, several NDA leaders will campaign in support of the alliance’s candidates. BJP National President J.P. Nadda will address election rallies in Goh in Aurangabad and Patepur in Vaishali District.
Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh, along with Raj Bhushan Chaudhary, will address election meetings in Shahpur in Bhojpur. The party’s election co-in-charge and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya will also campaign in support of the NDA candidates.
Meanwhile, the Grand Alliance led by the Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Congress is likely to announce its joint strategy and campaign program today. Bihar in-charge of Congress Krishna Allavaru has said that the entire Alliance is united and will campaign together.
