Shivamogga/UNI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar to appear before it on Feb 22, while the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has served notice to his daughter Aishwarya Shivakumar.
Yesterday a notice was issued to my daughter and our college (Global Academy of Technology), on the amount of fees paid and whether she had passed the exams, by the CBI. What can I say about that? If they are seeking details of the school fees and college fees, you can imagine the sort of queries they are posing, Shivakumar told reporters here.
This summons, Shivakumar said, has put him in a quandry to pick between Praja Dhwani Yatra or appear before ED.
The ED is investigating Shivakumars involvement in the National Herald and disproportionate assets cases.
