Minister of External Affairs, Dr. S Jaishankar, has greeted his Papua New Guinea counterpart, Justin Tkatchenko, and the people of the country on the 50th anniversary of their Independence. In a social media post, Dr. Jaishankar said India is committed to further strengthening Indo-Pacific cooperation. India had gifted a consignment of 8 thousand bottles of indelible ink to the Electoral Commission of Papua New Guinea in June this year.
Dr. Jaishankar has also extended his wishes to the Foreign Minister of Mexico, Juan Ramon de la Fuente, and the people of Mexico on their Independence Day, today. In a social media post, the Minister said that both nations’ partnership continues to deepen as India-Mexico marks 75 years of diplomatic relations.
