25 thousand 378 houses in Jirania sub-division have been connected with piped water till now under Jal Jeevan Mission.
Out of which, 10,055 are in the old Agartala block of the sub- division, 6,235 in Belbari block and 9,084 houses in Jirania block have been connected to drinking water through pipelines. Moreover, 59 deep tube wells, 9 iron removal plants and 72 small bores have been dug in old Agartala block of Jirania sub-division.
40 deep tube wells, 11 iron removal plants and 100 small bores have been dug in Belbari block. 52 deep tube wells, 13 iron removal plants and 85 small bores have been dug in Jirania block.
