Defence Research and Development Organisation, DRDO, today handed over six strategic, indigenously designed and developed products to the Indian Navy. These are the Gamma Radiation Aerial Surveillance System, Environmental Surveillance Vehicle, Vehicle Radiological Contamination Monitoring System, Underwater Gamma Radiation Monitoring System, Dirt Extractor and Cross Contamination Monitor and Organ Radioactivity Detection System. The Secretary of the Department of Defence Research and Development and Chairman DRDO handed over these products to Rear Admiral Sriram Amur, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (SSP), at a special ceremony held at the Defence Laboratory Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
