The Directorate of Information Technology (DIT), Government of Tripura, will showcase the State’s investment-ready digital ecosystem at Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026, highlighting IT infrastructure, startup policies, AI, data centres, innovation, and investment opportunities while attracting national investors and technology companies.
The Directorate of Information Technology (DIT), Government of Tripura, is set to participate and showcase the state’s investment-ready digital ecosystem in the Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026, to be held on 9th and 10th July 2026 at the Hapania International Fair Ground, Agartala.
In line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Tripura, is committed to building a vibrant IT ecosystem through world-class digital infrastructure and progressive policies that make the State an attractive destination for investments in Information Technology and allied sectors, according to a press release.
The investment summit will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha, in the presence of Union Minister of MDoNER Jyotiraditya M Scindia, Cabinet Ministers and senior Government officials, industry leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and other distinguished dignitaries from across the country. Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal is expected to join the event virtually.
As one of the key attractions of the conclave, the Directorate of IT will establish a dedicated IT Pavilion showcasing Tripura’s growing digital ecosystem, investment-ready infrastructure and policy-driven growth in the IT and Electronics sectors.
The pavilion will serve as a single-window platform for investors, entrepreneurs, startups and technology companies to explore opportunities and interact with government officials.
The pavilion will highlight investment opportunities in IT Parks, Data Centres, Incubation & Innovation Parks, Artificial Intelligence (AI), AVGC-XR, Startup & Entrepreneurship, BPO/Call Centres, Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) and Emerging Technologies, besides showcasing the Tripura Startup Policy, Tripura Data Centre Policy and Tripura IT/ITeS Policy. It will also feature startup success stories from Tripura.
Throughout the two-day conclave, the Directorate will facilitate Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings, investor interactions and strategic discussions, with several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) expected to be signed.

The Directorate has been actively promoting Tripura as an emerging investment destination by participating in major investment summits and investor roadshows across different States. These outreach initiatives have received a notable response from industry and have strengthened Tripura’s position as a promising destination for investments in digital infrastructure, IT services, electronics and innovation-driven industries.
The investment outreach has already generated encouraging results.
More than 300 companies have been approached, over 35 MoUs have already been signed. More than 100 investors related to the IT sector are expected to attend the conclave.
Leading organizations including Salesforce, CtrlS Datacenters Limited, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), SEAS Biotech, Defence and Space Robotics Laboratory (DSRL) and Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) have shown keen interest in investing and collaborating with the Government of Tripura.
In this Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026, the Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Tripura, is trying to highlight nine investible projects, namely Development of a State-of-the-Art IT Park Infrastructure Hub; Establishment of an Incubation and Innovation Park; Setting up of Data Centre Infrastructure; Setting up of BPO and Call Center Hub; Setting up of Fintech Operations; Establishment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Development Hub; Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) Production & Skilling Hub; Semiconductor Design & Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) Integrated Facility; and Emerging Technologies Hub covering Cybersecurity Products and IoT Sensor Networks.
The Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Tripura, recently participated in several national-level investment summits and investors’ roadshows to promote the State’s digital ecosystem and investment potential. These included the India AI Impact Summit 2026 held in New Delhi, the Destination Tripura – Business Meet 2026 Investors’ Roadshow in New Delhi, followed by Destination Tripura Investors’ Roadshows in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Guwahati and Mumbai. Through these engagements, DIT has showcased Tripura’s strengths in Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, digital infrastructure, IT-enabled services, innovation and investor-friendly policies, thereby enhancing the State’s visibility among leading industries, technology stakeholders and investors.

IT Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, in a social media post, said the two-day conclave will showcase Tripura’s immense investment potential and the Government’s investor-friendly policies.
“As part of our steadfast commitment to the State’s economic growth, the Government is taking all necessary steps to attract investment and foster a conducive environment for businesses to thrive. The conclave will also bring together investors, startups, entrepreneurs, and business leaders from across the country,” he commented.

The IT Minister also said, he is eagerly waiting to visit the IT Pavilion of the Directorate of Information Technology, where the opportunities in Tripura’s growing IT sector, together with the State’s progressive policies and vibrant digital ecosystem, will be highlighted.
