In Ladakh, the month-long Dharti Aaba Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan – Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp 2025 concluded at Kargil. Executive Councillor for Tourism Kacho Mohammad Feroz lauded the efforts of the district administration and allied departments for the successful conduct of the campaign. He emphasised the importance of community participation and assured continued support from the LAHDC Kargil in implementing development initiatives.
Deputy Commissioner and CEO of LAHDC Kargil, Rakesh Kumar, highlighted that the campaign focused on ensuring the delivery of government schemes to tribal and remote populations. He informed that grievances raised during the camps will be addressed in a phased manner.
A total of 112 camps were held across 14 blocks. The event also featured the distribution of residence certificates to beneficiaries and the felicitation of dignitaries with plant saplings. Information stalls were set up by various departments to educate the public about government schemes.
