DGCA asks Turkish Airlines to ensure compliance with safety regulations after inspections reveal lapses –

The Ministry of Civil Aviation has directed Turkish Airlines to ensure full compliance with the Convention on International Civil Aviation Standards and recommended practices, as well as the Directorate General of Civil Aviation regulations. The direction came following the inspections conducted by DGC, A, in which it found a lack of proper authorisation in Marshaller Competency, Aircraft Maintenance, Dangerous Goods Handling and Ground Handling Agreement. The inspections were conducted at Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru from 29th May to 2nd of this month. The inspections were carried out to ensure compliance with both international and national safety regulations.
