The air quality in the national capital, Delhi continues to remain in the very poor category, with an average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 304 as of 6 AM today. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, some areas of the city have breached the 357 AQI levels.

The AQI at Delhi’s Anand Vihar station was recorded at 357, Bawana at 341, Dwarka-Sector 8 at 332, Punjabi Bagh at 311, IGI Airport at 301, Chandni Chowk at 293, ITO at 284, Delhi University North Campus at 279, and Sri Aurobindo Marg at 259.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that Delhi and NCR are likely to experience smog and shallow fog during the night and morning hours over the next two days.
