On the occasion of Kargil Diwas today, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh laid a wreath at the National War Memorial in New Delhi to honour the brave soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil War in 1999. Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi also paid tribute to the soldiers.
