In a list compiled by Forbes with the help of IMDb, Deepika charges Rs. 15-30 crores per film.

The 38-year-old actress, who is presently expecting her first child, featured in blockbuster Hindi films like Pathaan, Jawan in 2023.

She was last seen in Fighter, which released in January 2024. Her upcoming film is Nag Ashwins multi-starrer Kalki 2898 AD.

Kangana charges Rs. 15-27 crores, Priyanka Rs. 15-25 crores, Katrina Kaif Rs. 15-25 crores as remuneration for one film.

Surprisingly, Alia Bhatt, who is a leading contemporary Bollywood actress, secured the fifth spot as she charges Rs. 10-20 crores per film.

Among others who are included in the list are Kareena Kapoor Khan (Rs. 8-18 crores per film), Shraddha Kapoor (Rs. 7-15 crores per film), Vidya Balan (Rs. 8-14 crores per film), Anushka Sharma (Rs. 8-12 crores per film) and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (Rs. 10 crores per film).

No actress from several South Indian film industries has been able to make it to the list.
