IMD has informed that there will be heavy to very heavy rainfall in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Alipurduars, Jalpaiguri and Coochbehar districts of West Bengal in 4-5 days. Alipurduars, Coochbehar and Jalpaiguri will receive very heavy rainfall today and tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Uttar Dinajpur district of north Bengal will receive heavy rainfall on 2nd and 3rd June.
Weather in South Bengal including Kolkata will remain normal with cloudy sky. Some areas will receive normal rainfall with forecasts of thunderstorm activity from 1st June in some places.
