Curfew Relaxed from 5 AM to 5 PM in Five Valley Districts Starting June 11 –

In Manipur, curfew will be relaxed from 5 AM to 5 PM in the five valley districts from tomorrow. However, the ban on internet and mobile data services in these districts was in force when reports last came in. The curfew was imposed in Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Kakching and Bishnupur in view of protests in these districts. The protestors were demanding to release of a leader of Arambai Tenggol, who had been arrested by CBI in connection with a case related to violence in the state.
