Global crude oil prices rose marginally today. A day after renewed fighting near the Strait of Hormuz raised fresh concerns over the ceasefire between the United States and Iran. Brent crude was trading 0.6 per cent up at 100 US dollars and 68 cents per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude was also trading 0.1 per cent up at 94 US dollars 92 cents per barrel, when reports last came in.
