In Cricket Women’s Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore registered 23-run victory over UP Warriorz at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru last night.
Put into bat first, Bangalore scored 198 for three wickets in the stipulated 20 overs riding on skipper Smriti Mandhana’s 80 off 50 balls and Ellyse Perry’s 58 runs.
Chasing the target, UP could only score 175 for 8 in 20 overs with the help of Alyssa Healy’s 55 runs. For Bangalore, Sophie Molineux, Sophie Devine, Georgia Wareham and Sobhana Asha picked up two wicket each.
