In Cricket, India have declared their innings at 564/8 on Day 2 of the one-off Test against Afghanistan in New Chandigarh.
For India, Skipper Shubman Gill scored 126, while KL Rahul contributed 100. Apart from them, Rishabh Pant and Sai Sudharsan scored 81 each, while Washington Sundar made 52 not out. For Afghanistan, Saleem Safi took six wickets.
Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first. The one-off Test match is being played outside the World Test Championship cycle.
