CPI (M) on Sunday slammed the BJP and has that Food Minister and also an MLA from Kamalpur Manoj Deb be removed from the state cabinet. CPM secretary Gautam Das in a press conference held Deb personally responsible for the attacks on party leader Ranjit Ghosh and others recently. Das alleged that police failed to take any action when the attacks were committed.
In the meantime, a CPM statement slammed the BJP for attacks on TMC leaders and workers on Saturday. In the press meet also Das criticised the BJP for the Saturday assault on TMC.
