Election Commission of India has said that the COVID-19 suspect or affected persons may give their vote by postal ballot in the upcoming by-elections to Ludhiana West Assembly Constituency in Punjab, Kadi and Visavadar in Gujarat, Nilambur in Kerala and Kaliganj assembly constituency in West Bengal.
However, they will have to get certified by the competent authority and be subject to verification of their request by the concerned Returning Officer.
The polling in these four constituencies is scheduled on the 19th of June, 2025.
